Radiant Achiever is a lifestyle application published by Christine Howard (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller for information processed in connection with Radiant Achiever unless stated otherwise.

2) Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Radiant Achiever mobile application and related in-app features (collectively, the “Service”). It does not cover third‑party websites or services that we do not control.
3) Information we collect
A. Information you provide
- Account and profile data (if accounts are offered): name, display name, email address, and any profile details you choose to add.
- In‑app content you submit (e.g., notes, journal entries, goals, checklists, preferences). Avoid sharing sensitive information; do not input confidential or health data unless you choose to do so.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and contact details when you reach out to us.
B. Information collected automatically
- Device identifiers: mobile advertising identifier (e.g., IDFA/GAID), device ID (resettable where platform supports), and installation ID.
- Device & app data: device model, OS version, language/locale, app version, time zone, and settings needed to run the app.
- Log and usage data: feature interactions, screens viewed, session timestamps, performance and crash diagnostics.
- Network data: IP address, connection type, carrier, and general location inferred from IP (city/region level), used for fraud prevention, analytics, and content delivery.
C. Information from partners
- Advertising & analytics partners (e.g., AppLovin) may provide aggregated performance reports, fraud/abuse signals, and coarse attribution information for campaigns and ads.
- App store platforms (Apple App Store / Google Play) may provide limited order, subscription, or download metadata required for support, refunds, or compliance.
4) How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Service (core features, preferences, reliability, availability).
- Improve and personalize features, content, and user experience.
- Customer support and communications about updates, policy changes, and security notices.
- Analytics to understand usage patterns and make product decisions.
- Fraud prevention & safety to protect users and our Service.
- Advertising (if enabled): to show ads, cap frequency, measure performance, and, where permitted, personalize ads.
- Legal compliance, including responding to lawful requests and enforcing terms.
5) Advertising & analytics (including AppLovin)
Radiant Achiever may display advertisements and/or use analytics to help us understand app performance. Advertising and analytics partners (including AppLovin) may process the following categories of data when you use the app:
- Mobile advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) or a similar resettable identifier.
- Device and network info (device model, OS, IP address, connection type, language, time zone).
- App interactions (ad views, clicks, installs, events) for measurement and fraud prevention.
- Coarse location inferred from IP for regional content and compliance.
Your choices:
- iOS (App Tracking Transparency): You can allow or deny tracking in the iOS prompt. Change later via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: You can reset or remove ad personalization via Settings > Google > Ads (options vary by device/OS).
- Opt‑out request: You may also email us at [email protected] to request an opt‑out from personalized advertising where applicable. We will honor your request as required by law.
We do not knowingly serve interest‑based ads to users identified as children (see “Children’s privacy”).
6) Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data under these legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (to provide the Service you requested).
- Legitimate interests (e.g., improve the app, prevent fraud, non‑personalized measurement), balanced against your rights.
- Consent (e.g., where required for personalized ads or certain analytics). You can withdraw consent at any time via device settings or by contacting us.
- Legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, regulatory requirements).
8) Data retention
- Account/profile & support data: retained while your account is active and for up to
24 monthsafter inactivity or closure, unless longer retention is required by law. - Usage logs & diagnostics: typically retained up to
12–24 monthsfor reliability, security, and analytics. - Advertising & attribution data: typically retained up to
24 monthsby us or our partners for measurement and fraud prevention (subject to partner policies). - Aggregated or de‑identified data may be kept longer for legitimate business purposes.
9) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; risks remain on the Internet and mobile networks.
10) International transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers (e.g., contractual clauses) and maintain protections consistent with this Policy.
11) Your rights and choices
A. Access, correction, deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may ask for information to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by law.
B. Opt‑out of marketing and ads
- In‑app/OS settings (see Section 5) to limit tracking/personalization.
- Email us to request an opt‑out from personalized ads where applicable.
C. California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. While we do not sell personal information for money, certain advertising activities may be considered “sharing” under California law. To exercise rights or opt out of sharing for cross‑context behavioral advertising, contact us at [email protected].
D. EEA/UK
If GDPR/UK GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12) Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 13 years of age (or under 16 where EEA/UK laws apply). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
13) Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
